Miss Laura Mabel Francatelli, 30, was born in London. Miss Francatelli had a sister, J. Francatelli, who lived at Chez nous, Strathbrook, London.
She boarded the Titanic at Cherbourg as secretary to Lady Duff-Gordon. Her ticket number was PC 17485 ("Mrs Morgan"). She occupied cabin E-36. She and Lady Duff Dordon were rescued in Emergency Lifeboat 1, later titled in the press the "millionaires boat". On the Carpathia a photo of her was taken together with all but one of the occupants of the lifeboat.
Laura Mabel Francatelli married to hotelier Max Haering and lived in Switzerland for a time, she died in London on 2 June 1967.
